On 13th July this year, my son Oliver and I will ride the 2019 Dunwich Dynamo - and we’d love you to sponsor us to help the Aegis Trust save lives through peace-building education. The Dynamo is a 120-mile night ride from Hackney Fields in London to Dunwich on the east coast ... rather like riding halfway from London to Paris in one go!
Much as we’d love you to sponsor us £10, £20 or £50, what we’re going to ask you for is six pounds. ONCE A MONTH. For four years. Why? Because that pays for a quarter of one White Rose clothing bank. And each White Rose clothing bank generates at least £500 annually for the Aegis Trust to save lives through peace education. That’s £5,000 over the next ten years. And Aegis will leverage that money to bring in at least another £20,000.
We’re not just going to have fun on these bikes while you get your wallets out though. We’re going to fund one clothing bank directly ourselves. And with your support, we’d like to raise the funds for at least another two.
