My Story

Hello. My name is Shamea and I have always loved running.  What better way to use my love of running then to raise money for a very worthy cause that has lasting and far reaching impact.  I am inviting you to join me in this venture by donating on this website.  The money you donate to support me will be used towards the Peace building program that Aegis Trust has established in Rwanda which is now being used in the surrounding regions which are experiencing conflicts.  What an amazing way to combine two passions- running and helping to bring peace and healing to a troubled world.  Thank you for your support and for coming on this journey with me.  Honestly you are helping to make this world a better place.  By supporting the work of White Rose which is part of Aegis Trust you are making a difference.  For more information on this most worthy cause please visit www.aegistrust.org.

I have done two runs so far- the Woodhall Spa and Normandy Hall 10 k runs which were fab.  The main event will be the Rutland Marathon in September.  Will keep you posted.  Training going well so far!  Go on- make a donation now.  Thank you.
